My cat wrecked her knee jumping from a high shelf, so she has to have surgery in a couple weeks. She tore a ligament so they're going to put a suture over her knee bones. I am going nuts trying to stop her from doing normal cat things like jumping and climbing because she's supposed to be lying around. :P

Sleep

Went to Lorie Line's Christmas show on Saturday night in Minneapolis. Some lady was yelling crazy stuff at nobody in particular on Hennepin Ave. I thought it was funny :( Lorie Line went around in the audience in the 2nd half and took requests, and then she played melody lines from all these different songs. One was an Eminem rap song, whatever that one from 8 mile is.. And then Clocks by Coldplay. I got another bell. It was only $5. I remember paying more in Madison 3 years ago for the bell I got there. See she has songs where the audience can ring bells if they want, so she always has a new bell every year. I'll take a picture of it today. I made a broccoli & cheese stuffed chicken breast (that I bought, not one I actually "made") & potato round things that look like potato oles from Taco John's but not spicy :(
I'm allergic to the basement so I've been sneezing all morning. Oh yeah, I want sleep because I went to bed at 2 a.m. and then got up at 7 to drive my mom & sister to work because my sister's window fell into the car door and 12-degree weather isn't good to drive in with your window down.. So I'm tired and I can't fall back asleep. I have to buy stamps because we did around 50 Christmas cards last night, we're early because we usually do them on New Years Eve and send out ones with the Wise Men on them because it's not Epiphany (La Befana for Hype) yet. How to be cold

It's freezing here! I should move to Florida where it's always 90 degrees and the alligators cross the road like deer do up here. (I saw one doing that when I was down there.) I am done shopping for 3 out of 9 people.
I want to buy the Aqua Teens season 4 dvd but I think I'm getting it for Christmas. I've been doing myspace stuff lately, I should learn more html so my profile looks better.

Huffles has a blog

Huffy emailed me and said she has a blog, but there's no thing to leave comments.
It's been snowing all week, I'm sick of brushing off the car and hoping the doors aren't frozen shut yet.
We went to Kohls last night because they were open until midnight. We got there at 10ish and left around 11:59.. Mom got lots of presents bought, but me & Anna didn't get as much. I picked out a lot of things that I'll have to act surprised about opening :(
We went to Marshall Fields in Minneapolis with Alex & Jack yesterday to see the Christmas display. It was Cinderella and I remember going when I was little and it was Cinderella that year too. I took pictures there, they're on Flickr.
I got roped into typing the Christmas letter, so I'ma gonna do that now since we bought fancy Christmas stationery. Bye?

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Turkey Day tomorrow!!

Today I went to the grocery store at 8 a.m. and that's when the old people are shopping so they like to slowly go down the middle of the aisle so your cart can't fit on either side and they look at things you want to buy for 3 minutes and then leave without taking anything so you're stuck waiting..
I went to watch my nephews this afternoon and we watched Polar Express, I only saw the last half, it was pretty good. Byrdy would like it because of Tom Hanks. Alex was all excited because Santa was in it. Then we were going to watch something else and Alex said no to Nemo, Brother Bear, Aristocats, and Shrek and then he finally said "How about No movie." and then we went and played with toys.
On Sunday we took my mom to Buca's for her 60th bday bash and invited 20 other people. Buca's is this Italian place where you order family-style and then pass it around. I was at a table with 7 other people so we all picked what we wanted and then we each got to try some of it. We had Chicken Marsala, Fettucine Supremo, Penne with spicy sausage, and then our salad had gorgonzola & proscuitto on top of it. Mmm And since it was mom's party, we got to bring home the leftovers. I had 3 drinks with apple pucker & pineapple rum in them and then a glass of wine.
I stopped taking my cough medicine because I guess it said you couldn't take it with alcohol and that would be a boring Thanksgiving. :P

My brother came over on Monday to take our bags of leaves to the compost and he said he had a sore throat and was all congested. The next day I woke up with a sore throat and I've been coughing up phlegm all week.. At least I was ok for the Gwen Stefani concert on Monday night, it was pretty awesome and she is very beautiful in person like she is on tv. The Black Eyed Peas were good, I didn't think I'd know their songs that well but they did their popular ones. I bought a $30 shirt with a banana on it.
So I've been taking stupid liqui-gels all week and coughing when I lie down if I don't prop myself up with pillows..
Yesterday I had to drive to Wisconsin to feed my brother's cats because he's deer-hunting. I finally got to take the liftbridge in Stillwater because it's fixed now. Otherwise you have to take 94 through Hudson and then drive north for 10 miles, it's out of the way. So I brought my camera along and took this picture of Gordon. He wanted to go outside and roam, but it's cold out and there's still snow on the ground from Tuesday/Wednesday.
I'm going to Harry Potter today. I bought the tickets online so I don't have to wait in line and I just hand this printed thingy to the ticket-bizzo.

I guess I'm getting an inch of snow tomorrow night.. well, that's what the radio-bizzo said today anyways. So I'm going to have to rake a lot tomorrow before the snow lands on it. And then it's supposed to be snowy all week. I guess it's around that time of year up here though, because we used to get snow by Halloween so it's late maybe.
I'm going to the Gwen Stefani concert tomorrow, I've heard her new cd all the way through once when I was in the car with my cousins, otherwise I only know her singles. And I've heard a couple Black Eyed Peas singles, but otherwise don't really know them and they're opening for her. I don't remember the last concert I went to, so this should be fun?
My room is in shambles, so I have to put stuff back in boxes so I can move it out and the furniture out. Then I can paint and put up my IKEA desk and then bring everything back in. Maybe I'll be done with that by Friday.
